Windows Update July 29 It is now possible to update its operating system to Windows 10 Final version


Windows 7 or Windows 8 PCs has already downloaded its update to Windows 10. 




Everything happens from Windows Update,  indeed Microsoft has enabled pre-loaded and updated.
A folder appear in the root of t C: Windows named $Windows.~BT


This hidden folder contains 3 GB (3.6 GB on Windows 7 x64 machine) the upgrade to Windows 10. An update that is downloaded in the background on many PC without any information User not consulted on this automatic process.

We recommend now to make a backup of your data even if the update will indeed keep your programs and personal files. 
If you can not find a hidden folder in the root of your drive, do not panic Microsoft indicated that the availability of the upgrade to Windows 10 waves would spread the burden and be able to make corrections in case of major problems.

Windows 10 is available in different forms including a free upgrade for PCs running Windows 7 or Windows 8.1. Migration through the Windows Update service and unfortunately the process is not perfect. Many users have problems that prevent the installation of the operating system. 


Microsoft has publicly acknowledged any of these errors stressing that its teams are working on a patch. It should land in the coming days. This error is the "0xC1900101 - 0x30018". It results in failure of the installation of the update process.

Error 0xC1900101 - 0x30018, incompatibility is certainly involved.

According to Microsoft, the problem is probably related to problems of incompatibility or
  • With antivirus and other computer security programs
  • Or pilot or equipment that is not fully compatible with Windows 10.
The firm is working on a fix. Meanwhile, she advises for successful migration
  • Disable antivirus software or any other application that you feel at risk (incompatibility)
  • Disable the use of WiFi to prefer a wired connection
  • Remove all USB devices except the keyboard and mouse,
  • Install all updates on your old Windows
  • And finally correct the damaged file systems by typing "sfc / scannow" in a command prompt window
If none of these tips work, it will be worth wait until the arrival of the official patch.
