Cara Memperbaiki File MS Word 2010 Belum Tersimpan
Ketika kita dengan susah payah membuat atau mengetik pada MS Word beberapa halaman dan anda lupa menyimpannya atau listrik padam atau tidak sengaja anda menutup dan tidak menyimpanya.
Apalagi jika file itu adalah file penting yang menyangkut hidup dan mati anda. Maka apapun akan dilakukan untuk mengembalikan file tersebut. Hal tersebut sebenarnya dapat anda hindari dengan menggunakan fasilitas Auto Recover pada MS Word 2010, Tutorial pertama yang harus anda lakukan adalah dengan mengatus setingan Auto Recover pada MS WORD 2010.
Sebenarnya kita tidak menyadari bahwa ketika kita sedang mengetik, setiap beberapa menit sekali MS Word scara otomatis telah menyimpan hasil ketikan kita meskipun kita belum menyimpannya. Dibawah ini adalah tutorial mengatur setingan auto recovery:
- Buka MS Word 2010
- Klik File
- Pilih "Options" pada panel di sebelah kiri
- Pilih menu "Save" pada jendela Word Options
Melalui tampilan seperti pada gambar di atas, kita dapat mengatur sendiri waktu simpan otomatis yang akan dilakukan oleh MS Word 2012. Pada contoh, SaveAutorecover Information diisi dengan angka 5 yang artinya setiap 5 menit MS Word akan menyimpan file Anda.
Lalu bagaimana cara mengembalikan file yang kita anggap hilang tadi? sangat mudah...

- Buka MS Word 2010
- Klik File
- Pilih "Recover Unsaved Documents" seperti pada gambar berikut ini
- Kemudian anda dihadapkan dengan memilh salah satu file MS Word, kita pilih salah satunya, lalu klik "Open"
- File yang kita harapkan akhirnya muncul. Selanjutnya adalah kesempatan Anda untuk menyimpan file tersebut sebelum listrik kembali padam...hehe...cukup kita klik tombol Save As seperti pada gambar berikut ini.
- Ingat, jika waktu Auto Recover yang kita setting adalah 5 menit, maka jika kita baru saja membuat file, lalu belum ada 5 menit sudah terjadi pemadaman listrik, maka bisa jadi file yang kita buat tidak akan dapat kita kembalikan.

Windows 10’s File Explorer has a new view called “Quick Access”.This list of folders also replaces the old favorite folders list.
So it show a list of “frequent folders” and recent files,so you can access them more quickly.

Make File Explorer Open to “This PC” Instead of Quick Access
Whenever you open a FIle Explorer window, you’ll see the Quick Access view, which provides access to frequently used folders and recently used files. (File Explorer was previously named Windows Explorer in Windows 7 and earlier versions of Windows, but was renamed to File Explorer in Windows 8.)
But you might want to see the “This PC” view instead — it’s more like the traditional My Computer view on older versions of Windows that displayed connected devices and drives. It also displays your user account’s folders — Desktop, Documents, Downloads, Music, Pictures, and Videos. This was the default view when you opened a File Explorer window on Windows 8.
To make File Explorer open to the This PC view, click the File menu, and select “Change folder and search options.” Click the “Open File Explorer to” box at the top of the window and select “This PC” instead of “Quick access.”
No, Windows still doesn’t provide an easy way to have File Explorer automatically open to another folder of your choice when you click its taskbar icon.

To remove a folder from quick access, right-click it and select “Unpin from quick access.” It’s still called the “Quick access” menu, but it functions identically to the old list of favorite folders.
You could have File Explorer automatically open to a Quick Access view that just shows frequently accessed folders, or disable both options and FIle Explorer would automatically open to a Quick Access view that just displayed your pinned favorite folders.
The Quick Access view also appears in the traditional Save and Open dialogs, replacing the old Favorites list that only listed your favorites folders. Tweak the above options and it will function identically to the Favorites list on previous versions of Windows

MS Outlook emerged as most popular desktop email client with PST as its proprietary file format. Outlook data files contain large volume of data and are prone to corruption like any other data files. These files gets corrupted due to many known or unknown reasons and sometimes data gets deleted accidentally form the email or other mailbox folders. To prevent data loss due to corruption; the PST files need to be recovered and restored back on machine.
In the recent past, while working with the application, some of the files were deleted accidently; so I used Outlook Recovery software for recovery of lost data. The overall experience with the tool is summed up here in.

My Expectations from the Tool:
There are some specific requirements that I was expecting to be fulfilled such as:- Recovery of deleted data which is the foremost necessity.
- Recovery of some of the corrupted Outlook files.
- Data Restoration while maintaining its original formatting.
- Maintenance of actual structure of data elements.
- Data storage on machine while keeping its attributes.
What the Tool Offered:
The PST recovery tool offered the following features against the above-stated requirements:- It recovered all the deleted data that was accidently erased from the mailbox.
- It helped recovering files that has been damaged due to oversized volume.
- All the data was restored in its original format on machine.
- The actual structure and composition was kept maintained.
- The mailbox components were restored with integrated attributes.
Additional Features Offered by the Tool:
It offered some supplementary features while recovering PST files and these attributes are:- Advance scan mode to recover files as per necessity.
i. Advance Scan is performed on highly damaged data files.
- Offers recovery of selective items from enlisted components.
i. Select multiple items by clicking on the available checkboxes.ii. Select entire folders to be processed in batch.
- Multiple Export options to select from as per requirement.
i. Export as PSTii. Export as MSG
iii. Export as EML
- Attachments can be previewed in the panel itself.
When an email message is been selected, the enclosed attachments are displayed in the ‘Attachments’ tab within the tool panel and are exported to the selected file format along with the associated message.

- Mail Filter’ feature to export specified period data.
By selecting this option, date particulars can be provided and instructions can be given to the tool for exporting that specific data only. This way, it will export data from the period specified in the ‘From Date’ column and to the duration mentioned under ‘To Date’ column.
- ‘PST Split feature allows dividing large volume files.
The feature enables splitting or dividing the large sized data files to be saved and restored into limited divisions. This way, the corruption that occurred due to oversized volume of the PST file reduces and data is stored in more organized manner.
- Naming Conventions while exporting to EML and MSG.
While saving data to EML and MSG file formats, the tool offers to save the files with appropriate names. This further enables to restore data in a managed way and offers more recognition to the files. Files can be directly selected while avoiding random search.
- Resultant files can be saved into selected format at any selected location on system.
The tool does not alter the original PST files and in fact creates new files for saving the recovered data. It offers the flexibility of saving these files at user defined location on storage media.- The Outlook Recovery tool generates the ‘Export Report’.
This report can be saved in CSV format for future reference as it contains the source and destination location information of the processed file.

When this file format is selected to export recovered data; the mailbox components are saved in their original format. The data gets restored within respective folders where it was residing before corruption or deletion.MSG:
This format is used to restore email messages only and saves single message per file. This way, the chances of data getting absurd are reduced to greater extent and proper manageability is offered to the files.EML:
This is the widely used file extension and is supported over Windows, Mac, iOS, Android and many other Operating Systems. Improvements Required:
As per my opinion and experience, the tool is well versed with all potential features that are required for recovery and successful storage of data. Therefore, no changes or alterations are required to be done. The developers of the tool have kept the GUI simpler and the recovery procedure is self-defined and quite straight-forward.Final Opinion:
The tool helped me in recovering the deleted data which was the principal requirement. It also offered extracting data from the corrupted Outlook PST files. The additional features that the tool offers such as export to EML and MSG; splitting PST into smaller proportions; saving EML MSG files with suitable names; etc. serves as an add-on while recovering and restoring mailbox data. The performance and functionality of the tool is found to be efficient and accurate.In addition, the availability of Personal, Business and Enterprise Licenses makes it more scalable as this way; flexibility is provided to choose among the given categories. The user can choose any license in accordance with its usage requirements and can test before purchasing the same with Trial version available online.

Set as default.
You must delete demaged profile (email account, e.g.: IMAP).

Kenapa harus dibackup? karena kadang saat kamu mengedit file registry pada registry editor, kemudian error, akan ada perubahan yang sulit kamu kembalikan. Maka dari itu perlunya untuk membuat backup file registry agar mudah mengembalikan registry pada keadaan semula. Untuk membuat backup file registry berikut ini langkah - langkahnya :

Pertama, pastikan kamu sudah masuk ke registry editor. Jika belum tahu caranya , kamu bisa baca pada "Bagaimana Membuka File Registry Windows 10". Setelah kamu ada di registry editor klik file lalu pilih export.

Akan muncul kotak penyimpanan . Pilih tempat dimana kamu ingin menyimpan backup file registry milikmu. Secara default akan tersimpan di Document . Untuk ekstensi defaultnya adalah (.reg). Jika sudah klik Save. Maka file registry sudah terbackup (aman) .

Nah itulah cara mudah untuk backup file registry dari windows 10. Lalu bagaimana cara Restore (mengembalikan) file registry pada kondisi awal. Caranya hampir sama seperti cara di atas. Untuk me-restore caranya dengan pilih File - Import - Pilih file registry backup yang kamu buat tadi. Atau dengan cara lain, yakni cukup dengan double klik ( klik dua kali) pada file hasil backup tadi maka secara otomatis file registry akan ter-restore (dikembalikan) - Syaratnya saat kamu eksekusi file ini dengan level administrator.
